I cant tell it from my SX as far as distance and lack of back lashes. I have pulled some decent fish out of some heave weeds and really like the feel of the drag. The only rub is that after doing some research, it looks like the Revo X is the exact same reel with just 2 more lbs of drag. Backlashes are very infrequent and mostly my fault. Been using it for 2 years with no issues.

After I got it, I realized it was a very smooth reel that holds up well. I originally bought it because it was a decent price and it looked really nice in the white colorway. Not sure how it stacks up against other similarly priced reels (SLX or Tatula CT) but I do like this reel. Got this thing on sale and am loving it so far, almost never backlash and casts a dang mile. After using the Abu Garcia Blackmax for a couple years I decided it was time to upgrade.
